What do you define as an 'active user'?
An active user is someone who has authenticated at least once in a calendar month. An active user is counted only once, irrespective of how many authentications they make that month.

Our business hours cover Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM Central European to 6:00 PM Central European, excluding Zurich public holidays.

What happens when my free trial period is over?
You will be informed before your trial period expires. In the admin interface, you will be prompted to enter your billing and payment information and your account will be automatically switched to the ‘Starter’ plan, unless you choose another option.
Can I change my subscription to a different plan?
Yes. You can always change your subscription plan to a different tier, directly in the admin interface.
Can I change my support plan?
Yes. You can always select a different support plan that better suits your needs, please contact sales.
Does an SMS authentication count as an active user?
When a user is authenticated using the SMS code, they are counted as an active user. In addition Futurae charges your account per SMS sent.
Which features are available to test under the free trial?
During the free trial you will have access to the ‘Pro’ plan. All features are available, excluding the use of the SMS authentication factor. If you want to test the SMS authentication feature, you have to enter billing and payment information, in the admin interface and Futurae standard SMS rates will apply. During the free trial, you will not be charged for active users.
We have more than 50'000 users, but really just need the features from the ‘Starter’ or ‘Pro’ plans - what should I do?
We are happy to offer you the features from ‘Starter’ or ‘Pro’ plans at an attractive rate, no matter how many users you want to authenticate. To find out which competitive rates we are able to offer you, with a larger user base, please contact sales.
What happens if I stop using Futurae? How do I know my data is safe?
At Futurae, your data is always secure. If you stop using Futurae, you will be able to export all your users data and subsequently request for Futurae to delete it, permanently.
